Call of Duty’s Season 5 Reloaded update is now live in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, bringing more game modes, events, and wacky operator bundles. It also introduces a new launcher for taking down killstreaks. Here we’ll guide you through all the ways to unlock it.
How to unlock the Torque 35
The Torque 35 is classified as a launcher. It’s described as a “combat-ready compound bow capable of taking down large prey.” The longer you hold the bowstring, the greater the strength of your shots. It also offers different arrow types, with certain arrows being retrievable after they’re fired.
This new weapon can be unlocked by completing any five weekly challenges from the Week 5 challenge list. There are 21 challenges in total for the week, spanning multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, but you can mix and match any five.
Multiplayer challenges week 5:
- Use a Field Upgrade 15 times
- Get 25 kills with alternate ammo equipped to a weapon
- Get 10 quickscope kills with a marksman rifle or sniper rifle
- Get five operator kills with claymores, proximity mines, or C4
- Get 20 operator kills with explosives
- Get 10 operator double kills
- Get five operator kills with killstreaks
Zombies challenges week 5:
- Get 300 toxic damage kills
- Get 150 kills with Cryo Freeze with a battle rifle
- Get 300 kills with a scoped battle rifle
- Get 75 kills with claymores, proximity mines, or C4
- Drink 10 Perk-a-Cola cans
- Get 10 zombie kills with taking damage 20 times
- Clear 5 Infected Strongholds
Warzone challenges week 5:
- On Fortune’s Keep, get 10 operator kills in the North Region (Gatehouse, Keep, Terraces)
- On Fortune’s Keep, Get 10 operator kills in the East (Konni Outpost, Lighthouse, Pier, Winery)
- In Warzone, place in the top 10 five times
- In Warzone, open 50 loot caches
- On Fortune’s Keep, get 10 operator kills in the West (Graveyard, Overlook, Town)
- On Fortune’s Keep, get 10 operator kills in the South (Ground Zero)
- In Warzone, complete 10 contracts
Additional Zombies unlock method
The Torque 35 can also be unlocked through a successful exfil in Zombies. If a friend has this new weapon already, just invite them to play a round of Zombies with the Torque 35 as their insured weapon. They can drop the bow for you to pick up at the start of the match, and then you just need to successfully exfil with it. You might even get lucky and loot an enemy player who has this weapon equipped. This Zombies unlock method works for any weapon in the game.
Store bundle
Store bundles usually offer an additional way to gain access to the new DLC weapons, but a bundle is currently not available for the Torque 35 yet. One may become available at a later date.
