Microsoft has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on Xbox Cloud Gaming for Game Pass Ultimate members at launch. Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 will also receive cloud support on the same day. Black Ops 6 and other older Call of Duty titles also stream on GeForce Now.
According to Microsoft’s blog, Black Ops 6 will arrive to Xbox Cloud Gaming at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET on October 25, which is also the same day that Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone will be available on the service.
Microsoft’s purchase of Activision Blizzard last year allowed Call of Duty to join Xbox’s Game Pass, and now this is the first time a Call of Duty title has been available on Xbox Cloud Gaming at launch. With cloud gaming, players will be able to stream these three Call of Duty games on mobile devices and select Samsung TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Meta Quest devices.
The service for all three games will require a Game Pass Ultimate subscription. More details about Call of Duty on Game Pass can be found here.
Activision also revealed new details about audio improvements for Black Ops 6, including more immersive sound and new accessibility settings.
Here are all the major details revealed for Black Ops 6’s release, which highlights campaign info, two Zombies maps, and Treyarch’s new omnimovement system. There will also be unique rewards available to earn by playing the Black Ops 6 campaign, including an operator skin and weapon blueprints.
