Humble has a new promotion running, and if you’re in the mood to travel across the Marvel, DC, Jurassic World, and Lord of the Ring universes in Lego style, you won’t want to miss out on this one. For just $15, you can get a whopping 19 Lego video games to play on your PC. This bundle on its own works out to $419 in value, and proceeds will go toward the BuildOn charity, a group that aims to break the cycle of poverty and illiteracy by mobilizing US students to transform their communities. Internationally, the group also builds schools in developing countries.
If you only want a few Lego games, there are two other tiers of this bundle to look at. The lowest tier–priced at $5–gets you six games, and you can pay $10 to get 11 games. All tiers come with a discount voucher for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, allowing you to get a high-ground advantage and slash the price of that game by 85% if you decide to purchase it.
This is a pretty good selection of games, even if they mostly stick to the same template under developer Traveller’s Tales. Lego games are comfort junk food, colorful adventures that riff on the source material they adapt and are easy on the brain with their puzzle sections.
Each has a great amount of content, they’re fun for the family, and they have a cheeky sense of humor. One of the hidden gems here is Lego Worlds, which is essentially a Lego version of Minecraft narrated by Peter Serafinowicz. Imagine a toybox to build Lego in without having to worry about stepping on a stray block, and you have a good idea of what to expect.
If you prefer IRL Lego, Humble is also offering a huge selection of 20 ebooks called the Build It With Lego Bundle, with the available books covering a wide variety of topics like advanced building techniques and art projects.
