Hori Split Pad Compact Switch Controller Is 50% Off For Target Circle Week

The Hori Split Pad Compact is on sale for its lowest price ever as part of Target’s Circle Week sale. At just $26, you’re saving close to 50% off the Nintendo Switch controller’s $50 list price. To take advantage of this deal, you need to sign up for a free Target Circle membership. Only the light gray and yellow model of the Split Pad Compact is up for grabs at this price, though you can get several other Split Pad models at discounted prices from other major retailers, including Amazon.

Hori Split Pad Compact

The Split Pad Compact is a smaller iteration of Hori’s other Split Pad Pro controller, featuring a similar button layout and features–like two programmable back paddles and turbo mode–but a less bulky design. The Split Pad Compact also lacks rumble, gyro, IR, and NFC support like the Pro version, so it’s not a holistic Joy-Con replacement, but it’s still one of our favorite picks for playing Switch games in handheld mode.

Interested in the Split Pad Compact but want a bit more stylistic flair? A Pokemon edition featuring Pikachu and Mimikyu is available for $41.79 at Amazon (down from $60). Alternatively, you can grab a Gengar edition for $53. Meanwhile, retro gamers can get the Pac-Man edition for $49.

If you think the Split Pad Compact looks cool, but need a larger model, the Split Pad Pro is on sale at Best Buy for just $40. Pokemon fans can get a black and gold Pikachu-themed edition of the Split Pad Pro for $55. Though it’s not on sale, Zelda fans may be interested in the Tears of the Kingdom-themed Split Pad Pro. There’s even an upcoming Zelda-themed carrying case, designed specifically for this Split Pad Pro, that’s available to preorder now.

Plenty of other controllers are on sale during Target Circle Week. Xbox and PC gamers should check out our roundup of the best official Xbox controller offers below. PlayStation (and PC) players can take advantage of the best deal yet on the Victrix Pro BFG, our favorite third-party PS5 controller.
