Horizon Forbidden West PC Preorders – How To Save $11 On Your Steam Key

PC players looking to return to a post-apocalyptic world where robots have usurped humanity’s position at the top of the food chain are in luck: Horizon Forbidden West’s PC port is coming soon. Even better, it’s possible to shave a sizable chunk from the preorder price. Over at Green Man Gaming, you can grab a Steam key for the PC release of Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition for only $49.19 ahead of its March 21 release.

To drop the price from $60 to $49.19, you’ll need to be a member of Green Man Gaming’s XP rewards program, but signing up is free and easy to do. You can click this link to join Green Man Gaming XP.

So what all do you get in Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition? Beyond the base game and its meaty Burning Shores expansion, the PC version is also loaded with technical extras to take advantage of. Provided that your PC is up to scratch, you can play with unlocked frame rates, customizable graphics settings, and ultrawide support.

The game also supports performance-enhancing technologies like Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS, so you’ll be able to enjoy the experience just in case you’re using older hardware. Additionally, you’ll get the following preorder bonuses to use in the game when it launches in March:

  • Blacktide Outfit and Blacktide Bow (Preorder bonus)
  • Nora Legacy Outfit and Nora Spear (available only when linking your Steam account to PlayStation Network)
  • Carja Behemoth Elite and Nora Thunder Elite outfits
  • Carja Behemoth Short Bow and Nora Thunder Sling weapons
  • In-game Resources Pack including ammunition, potions, and travel packs
  • In-game Apex Clawstrider Machine Strike Piece
  • Exclusive photo mode pose and face paint

First released in February 2022, Horizon Forbidden West received an 8/10 score from GameSpot. “The game is continually compelling not because developer Guerrilla Games filled it with a huge amount of stuff to do, but because so much of that stuff is thoughtfully constructed and sometimes even emotionally engaging, instead of just feeling like items created to add as many map markers to the world as possible,” Phil Hornshaw wrote.

If you need to catch up by playing Horizon Zero Dawn, the Complete Edition is available for only $10.63 at Green Man Gaming as part of the retailer’s PlayStation Studios sale. Once again, you’ll need a GMG XP account to get the full discount (otherwise you’ll pay $12.50). You can check out all of the stellar PlayStation Studios PC game deals at GMG below.
