Madden 25 Is Free To Play This Weekend On PS5 And Xbox Series X|S

Just in time for the start of the new NFL season, EA Sports has announced that Madden NFL 25 is free on all platforms now through September 8. You can follow the links below to download the game now on your preferred platform.

The 2024 NFL season begins today, September 5, with a matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens. That’s right, the actor Travis Kelce also plays football.

If football is not your thing, TopSpin 2K25 is free on Xbox for Game Pass Core and Game Pass Ultimate members now through Sunday, September 8. The timing here is not random, either, as the promotion is no doubt tied to the US Open women’s and men’s finals taking place this coming weekend in New York.

For more on these games, be sure to read GameSpot’s Madden NFL 25 and TopSpin 2K25 reviews.

In other sports game news, EA Sports FC releases on September 27, while NHL 25 launches on October 4. One sports game that isn’t launching on time is Football Manager 25, which has been delayed to the end of November.
