Amazon has built quite a stable of connected devices for everything from reading ebooks to watching its extremely expensive TV shows. And for Prime Day this year, Amazon has chopped the prices on a ton of its devices, including Kindles, Ring cameras, Fire Sticks, and a whole lot more, giving you the opportunity to stock up on whatever internet-connected stuff you’ve been holding out on.
Prime Day has knocked the prices down on Amazon devices by as much as 50% making a few pretty affordable. Whether you’re trying to enhance your home entertainment system or find a convenient way to read a few more books, there’s a discount for you. Just note that for the most part, these are actual Amazon Prime deals–which means you’ll need an Amazon Prime subscription to access them. And while you’re at it, don’t miss the rest of Prime Day’s best deals.
Amazon’s Fire Stick devices connect to the internet to give your TV 4K streaming, making them a handy access point for Amazon Prime Video and other streaming services, such as Netflix and Hulu. You can also grab connected TVs, soundbars, and remotes during Prime Day. It’s also worth noting that Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K and 4K Max now work with Xbox Cloud Gaming, too.
Amazon is offering deals both its Kindle Scribe ereader and its more powerful Fire Max tablet on sale. If you’re in the market for books, you’ll also want to take advantage of a three-month trial for Kindle Unlimited, the service that gets you a mess of ebooks, and a three-month trial of Audible that comes with three free audio books you can keep even without a subscription.
If you’re hoping to smarten up your smart home, Amazon Echo is a pretty simple way to do it. These devices use the Alexa voice-activated assistant to allow you to do stuff like control your music, check the weather, surf the internet, turn on lights, and more with just your voice. For a budget pair of Bluetooth earbuds, check out the Echo Buds, which are Alexa-enabled and are discounted by 50% to $25.
There are a whole lot of other pieces of tech that use Amazon’s smart home features and streaming capabilities. Here are some of the deals that you’ll want to check out.
