Save Big On Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition Ahead Of Early Access Tomorrow

It’s just about time to dive back into the gory world of Mortal Kombat. The latest entry in the iconic fighting game series, Mortal Kombat 1, releases September 18 on consoles and PC. However, you can start playing as early as tomorrow, September 14, if you preorder the Premium edition. PC players can take advantage of some great deals on both digital Steam editions of the game. All preorders come with Shang Tsung as a playable character.

Mortal Kombat 1 is a $70 game on all platforms, but Fanatical is selling the standard edition for $60.89. On top of the discount, you’ll also get a free “highly rated” Steam game with your order. Meanwhile, the Premium edition is discounted to $95.69, down from $110, and also comes with a free game.

If you don’t care about the free game, though, Green Man Gaming has the lowest prices for Mortal Kombat 1. GMG XP members (free rewards program) can snag the standard edition for $58.09 or the Premium edition for $91.29.

In addition to early access starting September 14, the Premium edition comes with Shang Tsung as a playable character and the following extras:

  • Shang Tsung
  • 1,250 Dragon Krystals
  • Johnny Cage character skin: Jean-Claude Van Damme
  • Early access to six new playable characters
  • Five new Kameo Fighters

Mortal Kombat 1 will also be available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, with console. For more details, you can check out our Mortal Kombat 1 preorder guide.
