Spider-Man 2 Leads The Charge In 2024 DICE Awards Nominations

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is leading the pack this year at the 2024 DICE Awards with nine nominations, behind Peter and Miles is Alan Wake 2 with eight nominations and Baldur’s Gate 3 with seven nominations. In addition, Cocoon and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are frontrunners for Game of the Year. A total of 56 games this year have been nominated that span across 23 categories.

Each year, The DICE Awards nominees are chosen by Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) members. The AIAS is made up of developers and industry experts. Last year, during the 2023 DICE Awards, Elden Ring walked away with Game of the Year. It’s also worth noting that in addition to earning the DICE Game of the Year Award, Elden Ring earned GameSpot’s 2022 Game of the Year.

Like last year, this year’s show will be streamed by IGN on February 15 from the Aria Resort in Las Vegas, and it’ll be hosted by Stella Chung and Greg Miller.
