Nacon’s new open-world multiplayer racer, Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown, launches for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 12. The game marks the long-awaited return of the Test Drive series, which has been on hiatus since 2012. Solar Crown will be the first entry in the series published by Nacon, as the franchise has switched hands numerous times since its original debut way back in 1987. Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown will let players explore a vast open map from behind the wheel of real-world luxury cars, and engage in online races against other players.
While the launch is still a few months away, racing game fans can preorder Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown now on PC or console. Doing so gets you a few bonus items, and can even unlock early access to the game up to a week before launch. PC players can also save on their Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown preorders when they purchase the game at Fanatical. Let’s go over all the places where you can preorder Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown, the preorder bonuses, and all the early discounts available.
Preordering the Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown standard, Silver, or Gold editions will unlock the Ford GT 2006 in-game car immediately at launch. If you grab the Silver editions, you’ll get early access to the upcoming open beta and can play the final release up to 48 hours ahead of the launch, starting September 10. Gold edition preorders grant you access to the limited VIP beta, and let you play the final game up to seven days early starting September 5.
Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown is already cheaper to buy on PC than consoles, but PC players can save an additional 20% by preordering the game at Fanatical. Buying from Fanatical gets you all the same preorder bonuses as the other version, plus a 5%-off coupon code you can use on a future Fanatical order.
Fanatical’s Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown preorder deal will be available until the game launches on September 12. All versions of Solar Crown purchased at Fanatical are delivered as official Steam keys at launch.
