The next Elder Scrolls Online expansion, Gold Road, launches on June 3 for Windows and Mac, and on June 18 for PlayStation and Xbox. Preorders are available for all platforms, but PC and Mac players can save a few bucks by purchasing through Fanatical, which has discounts on all versions of the upcoming expansion.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road is available as an upgrade for existing players or as part of a new Elder Scrolls Online collection that bundles the base game and all previous expansions along with Gold Road. Deluxe editions of the upgrade and collection include extra exclusive content. Each version is discounted at Fanatical and available as either Steam keys or The Elder Scrolls Online launcher codes.
Don’t worry if that’s confusing–we’ve compiled all versions of The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road and listed them below, along with links to buy at Fanatical. Note that preordering The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road also gets you a few bonuses, including the Welkyndstone Ruins Wolf mount bonus that’s usable in-game immediately, and a new pet, costume, and additional in-game items that will unlock at launch. You also get a digital coupon for 5% off your next Fanatical purchase.
If you already own The Elder Scrolls Online and its previous expansions, you’ll want to grab the Gold Road digital upgrade, which is available in two versions:
For new players or anyone who still needs to catch up on the previous expansions, you’ll want to grab The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road Collection to get the base game and Gold Road, plus all seven previous expansions: Morrowind, Summerset, Elsweyr, Greymoor, Blackwood, High Isle, and Necrom. Buying the collection lets you start playing the base game and all previously released expansions immediately, and the Gold Road content will unlock when the expansion releases on June 03.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road marks the eighth full expansion for the long-running fantasy MMORPG and will introduce new gameplay systems like customizable Scribing skills, and add the West Weald region, which was first seen in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. It will also feature a new main questline that introduces a never-before-seen Daedric prince, Ithelia, which could be a major shake-up for the Elder Scrolls series’ lore.
