A new volume of the Elden Ring: Books of Knowledge series is on the way later this year to help players through the game’s massive Shadow of the Erdtree DLC expansion. Elden Ring: Books of Knowledge Volume 3: Shadow of the Erdtree is packed with encyclopedic information on Shadow of the Erdtree’s densely-packed Shadow Realm, its inhabitants, and all the new gameplay content, plus behind-the-scenes materials that offer a deeper look into the expansion. The hardcover book is set to launch on September 30, and you can preorder it now for $45 at Future Press. We expect the listing to go live at Amazon soon, and we’ll update this article as soon as preorders are available.
Like the first two books in the series, Elden Ring: Books of Knowledge Volume 3: Shadow of the Erdtree is both a gameplay guide and an in-depth art book that fans of all stripes will want to check out. It includes detailed breakdowns of the expansion’s new characters and quest lines, as well as full walkthroughs of the new bosses, enemies, dungeons, and explorable regions. Along with the written guides, the tome is packed with artwork, including all-new concept art and full-page illustrations of landscapes, characters, weapons, and more.
Volumes 1 and 2 saw high demands thanks to Elden Ring’s massive success, and with Shadow of the Erdtree breaking records to become the best-selling video game DLC ever, we expect Volume 3 will be popular as well, so it’s worth preordering your copy as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, Elden Ring: Books of Knowledge Volume 1 and Volume 2 are currently sold out online, but you can still order a copy of Volume 1 at Amazon that will ship out once it’s reprinted. Chances are Volume 2 will see a reprint as well–but resellers are listing it for frankly ridiculous prices right now (over $100).
That said, there are plenty of other Elden Ring books out there, including the two-part Elden Ring: Official Artbook (Part 1, Part 2), both of which are discounted, and multiple volumes of the Elden Ring: The Road to the Erdtree manga, all of which are available at Amazon.
