In honor of its 21st birthday, Steam is offering an awesome discount on the original LCD Steam Deck. Right now through Sept. 26, the baseline, 64 GB model is on sale for $296.65 (was $349), matching its lowest price ever at 15% off. However, the 512 GB version is currently discounted to just $336.75 (was $449), the lowest price we’ve seen for the premium LCD model equipped with its anti-glare etched glass screen. Both models still include a zip-up case for the Deck, but Valve has been slowly phasing out its launch models of the Steam Deck equipped with LCD screens, so this deal will only be available while supplies last.
While these slightly older models don’t include the larger battery or OLED display featured in the Steam Deck OLED, the launch version of the Steam Deck remains a formidable alternative to other handheld options like the Nintendo Switch or ROG Ally.
The library of Steam Deck verified titles has expanded exponentially since its launch and includes awesome titles like Wild Bastards, Fields of Mistria, Anger Foot, and more.
